AGENDA
This activity is worth 5 CPD points for those registered with the HPCSA.

This one-day experiential workshop explores the role that Nature can play in improving our health and wellbeing. It is designed for those who love and care for people living with dementia, including professional health care workers as well as family members and friends.

The workshop framework is informed by a holistic model of community-based dementia care developed by Alzheimer Scotland. It considers the physical, emotional and social benefits of spending time in Nature – for both those living with dementia and their caregivers.

As the year draws to a close, come and be inspired by this day of active learning, sharing and connecting with Nature in a beautiful care home garden.

What our previous participants are saying

I’m so, so glad that I didn’t hesitate to join this course.
I’d read up on Dementia and done an on-line course previously, but I find Alice’s ‘Transforming the Dementia Journey’ hugely valuable, a combination of her clear, informative input and our personal interaction in the group.
